Our Story

SJM Ceilings & Renovations was founded by Stephanus Johannes Marthinus Boshoff in August 2014.

In short….. most people call the founder Fanie.


We install PVC Ceilings, Suspended PVC Ceilings, PVC Wall Panels, Tiling of walls and floors, flooring such as Laminated, Vinyl and SPC Flooring and do various types of renovation works.

We concentrate on quality. Our price might not be the lowest, but our quality is of the best. (No corner-cutting)


We pride ourselves on excellent quality installations.

We are serving customers within a radius of 200 (km) from Roodepoort, GAUTENG
 
Normally when a new ceiling gets installed, there is alterations required to the existing electrical circuits for lighting to suit new lighting layouts. In these cases it is the responsibility of the client to do the required alterations, however… we found in most cases that the client’s prefer that our own installation team’s does the alterations for them.

We do not have a person with a wireman’s license employed.

Should our client wish to have the electrical alterations (done by our teams) certified by a person with a wireman’s license that the electrical works are installed in accordance with the standards of code SANS-0142 as prescribed by the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS), we are available to assist the client with obtaining the services of such a person. We can do the alterations and we have the knowledge, experience and expertise to do the alterations exactly as per SANS-0142 codes and standards, but we are not authorized to certify the electrical works.


Only a person with a wireman’s license is authorized to certify an electrical installation.
Therefore… should the client wish to have it certified, costs for certification shall be for the clients account.

Fanie Boshoff

Fanie compleled his school education in 1999 and started a career as Sole Proprietor by offering his services to clean gardens in the Germiston district up to 2008 (8 Years) trading as Dr. Green Thumb

During this stage he learned a lot of home customer needs, and solved their requests such as solving and repairing of electrical, plumbing, irrigation, window repairs, geyser installations and so forth.


He is active with PVC Ceiling installations since March 2010 and from August 2014 till present he once again operates as Sole Proprietor trading as

Mathusm Mnegtenela has Std 8 as school qualification.


Mathusm (Mathew) has a deep understanding of PVC works and construction activities. He is trustworthy, loyal and without a criminal record.


Mathew is employed by
